What materials do you use?

Our premium materials include:

  • Wood in the Feeding Sets and Teethers is made of 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly FSC birch
  • We pass USA, European and Canadian mechanical and chemical testing, making us one of the few companies to exceed international safety and quality standards in our industry.
  • Our safety tested beads are non-toxic 100% silicone and are free of BPA, PVC, cadmium, lead and phthalates.


Guidelines for safe use: Our products are not toys and are intended for safe, reasonable use under adult supervision. Children under the age of 3 should not be left unsupervised with any January Moon product.

All of our materials have been put through independent third party safety testing and are compliant with ASTM, CE, CPSIA, EN-71, F963-II and Prop 65 standards. They are free of harmful substances, including lead, cadmium, BPA, PVC and phthalates.

What are “sensory needs”?

Sensory needs refer to the way each person’s body and brain notice, organize, and respond to everyday sensory information — including touch, sound, sight, taste, smell, movement, balance, and body awareness.

Some individuals need additional sensory input through movement, pressure, fidgeting, mouthing, or chewing. These needs can affect comfort, focus, emotional regulation, play, feeding, and daily routines.

At January Moon, we design beautiful, durable products that support families looking for safe, stylish tools for oral sensory input and everyday sensory-friendly living. Our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace guidance from a pediatrician, occupational therapist, or other qualified professional.

Shipping & Return

When will my order ship?

Processing Time: Orders are processed within 2 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

Order Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.

Wholesale Orders: Wholesale orders may have different processing times and shipping arrangements. Please contact us

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates We offer the following shipping options:

  • Free standard shipping on orders over $100

Do you ship internationally?

Shipping Restrictions: We currently ship to North America and Europe.  Please contact info@januarymoon.com for inquiries
regarding international shipping.

What if my item is damaged or lost?

Damaged or Lost Packages: If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us at info@januarymoon.com within 5 days of the expected delivery date so we can make it right.

Are January Moon accessories safe for everyday wear?


Yes! January Moon accessories are thoughtfully designed using premium, non-toxic materials that meet rigorous safety standards. Our silicone components are free from BPA, PVC, lead, cadmium, and phthalates, and all materials undergo independent third-party safety testing. While our products are durable enough for everyday use, they are not toys and should always be used responsibly under adult supervision. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, discontinue use and contact us for assistance.

Cleaning & Care

How do I clean January Moon products?

1. Silicone Jewelry and Teething Products

  • Wash with soap and water: Hand wash the silicone beads and parts using a mild dish soap and warm water.
  • Rinse thoroughly: Ensure all soap suds are washed away.
  • Air dry: Lay the product flat on a clean towel or hang it up to air dry.

2. Caring for Wooden Materials

  • Avoid prolonged soaking: Do not submerge wooden utensils or rings in water for long periods, as this can cause the wood to splinter or swell.
  • Spot clean: Wipe the wooden parts clean with a damp cloth.
  • Recondition the wood: To prevent the wood from drying out, you can periodically rub a small amount of food-grade oil (like coconut oil or beeswax) into the wood and let it soak in overnight.

3. What to Avoid

  • No dishwashers or sterilizers: Do not put the necklace in the dishwasher, washing machine, or boiling water.
  • Harsh chemicals: Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, bleach, or anitizing
    wipes on the silicone, as they can degrade the material.
